gun safety act of '23 updates

Temporary Injunction in place for places where alcohol are sold,  Any home or building where owner does not give express permission or has not conspicuously posted it is permissible to wear/carry on property, and Public Demonstration (within 1,000 ft)

PROHIBITED PLACES as of October 1

1. K-12 schools (private & public) 
2. Pre-school facility and grounds 
3. Inst. for Higher Learning (public and private) 
4. Healthcare facilities - 5/2 rule (a hospital as defined in § 19-301, a related institution as defined in § 19-301, an ambulatory surgical facility or center, a facility to help in the rehabilitation of disabled individuals)
5. Gov Infrastructure areas - owned or leased by state or local govt., polling place, electric plant, gas plant, nuclear power plant 
6. Special Purpose areas to include - places where alcohol or cannabis sold for onsite consumption, stadiums, museums, amusement parks, racetrack, video lottery 
7. Any home or building where owner does not give express permission or has not conspicuously posted it is permissible to wear/carry on property
8. Public Demonstration (within 1,000 ft) 
9. Legislative Buildings 
10. Aircraft 
11. Lodging 
12. Dredge Boats 
13. State owned buildings 
14. Chesapeake Forest Lands 
15. State Forests 
16. State Parks 
17. Rest areas 
18. Community Adult Rehab 
19. Child Care Centers.
